| Director International Master Plan Team: Mr. Blagborne led the international team assembled in Seville to produce a master plan for the exposition site. Advisor Department Executives: Mr. Blagborne advised and directed the Commissioner General, General Manager, Director of Design and Construction and the senior staff of Contents, Participants and Operations. Technomagica A workbook was produced to present imaginative, relevant possibilities for an amusement zone and to illustrate design criteria, demonstrate examples and to recommend development strategies. Exhibit Design Research 1989 (Contents Division) - an international search of exhibit design and fabrication firms with experience in expositions and evaluation of their capabilities prior to the competitions for design of contents in the EXPO 92 Theme Pavilions. La Cascada 1990 (Planning Division) - site planning and landscape design of a specific eight hectare parcel (Area Cascada) within the exposition site as a demonstration of the planning process. The project was done in collaboration with The Schnadlebach Partnership, landscape architects from New York. |
